Hailing from Lyon, France, WARSIDE is a relentless Death Metal war machine forged in the spirit of the old-school scene. The band is built on a 20 year musical brotherhood between founders Vincent (Guitars) and Jérôme (Bass), who first shared the stage in 2003 before reuniting in late 2017.

After the release of their debut EP The Enemy Inside (2020), WARSIDE reached a decisive turning point in 2023 and 2024, crushing European stages alongside legends like Vader and Vomitory. This touring experience sharpened the band into a faster, tighter, and more lethal entity. The lineup reached its peak with the arrival of Thomas on drums, bringing surgical precision to the rhythm section and Mathieu on vocals, whose guttural power defines the band’s current savage direction.

In 2026, WARSIDE reaches a major milestone with the release of their debut full-length album, Cognitive Extinction, via Gruesome Records. Recorded with an uncompromising “raw and direct” philosophy, the album delivers pure violence and primitive energy. This year also marks a massive step forward as the band heads out to conquer a new continent, storming Japan for an explosive tour alongside Death Metal heavyweights Aborted.
