Within Warside, an unshakeable friendship has united the members for over 20 years. More than a band, we’re a family. This strong bond can be felt in their music, with every note imbued with it. Their music is guided by a deep desire for integrity, honesty and transparency. Each song delves deep into their souls, reflecting their experiences, emotions and convictions.

It doesn’t matter if you know their names or if they’re French, from a town where absinthe and bloody brawls flow freely!

What matters is what they admire: The forerunners, who want it all, right away, who destroy the naysayers. What unites them is the intense fire that burns for authenticity, real people and total commitment. This rage to never give up and this insatiable thirst to go ever further.

1998 – Olivier (bass) created Benighted, and played with them for 19 years, recording 9 studio albums and and did several hundred live shows with bands such as Slayer, Obituary, Morbid Angel….

2003 – Vincent (Lead guitar) & Jérôme (guitar) created Death metal band Whisper-X, The band released 4 demos, a studio album, and played around a hundred live shows. with bands such as Gojira, Decapitated, Master…

2008 – Vincent & Jérôme meet Thomas (Vocals). Together they recorded a studio project HemeraH with ALAN DOUCHES (Nile, Sepultura…)

2018 – After working on various projects, Thomas, Vincent and Jérôme began writing new material. They met Florent (Bassist), Warside was born.

2020 – Release of 1st EP The Enemy Inside, recorded at Convulsound studio in France. Bassist Florent leaves the band & it is replaced by Olivier.

2023 / 2024 – Thomas joins the band on drums. 2 successful European tour supporting Vader and Vomitory. 40 dates in 14 different countries.
